Duties
- Provide daily care and attention to animals in the kennel facility
- Feed and water animals according to their specific dietary needs
- Clean kennels, cages, and other animal living areas to maintain a clean and sanitary environment
- Administer medications or treatments as directed by veterinary staff
- Monitor the behavior and health of animals, reporting any concerns or changes to the veterinary team
- Exercise and provide mental stimulation for animals through playtime and socialization
- Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming
- Maintain accurate records of animal care, including feeding schedules, medications given, and any observed changes in behavior or health

Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care facility is preferred
- Knowledge of basic animal care techniques and procedures
- Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and veterinary staff
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with animal care
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed
